McDowell Research is the worldwide industry leader specializing in the design and manufacture of power solutions and accessories to support military communications systems. Our main product categories include power supplies, RF amplifiers, battery chargers, amplified speakers, equipment mounts, case equipment and integrated communication systems.

McDowell Research was incorporated in 1992. The company was founded to develop and manufacture accessories to enhance military communications accessories. Our vision was, and continues to be, to bring the best possible technology to the warfighter.

We enjoyed tremendous growth as a private company and were named to the prestigious Inc. magazine list of the top 500 fastest growing companies in 2005.

McDowell Research was a private company until July 2006, when it was acquired by Ultralife Corporation. We are now an operating unit of Ultralife along with their UK and China units.
